Ceva Logistics appointed four regional presidents and the integration of its contract logistics and freight management businesses.

Chief Executive John Pattullo said the restructuring would bring the company’s business closer to customers, and help meet growing demand for integrated logistics services.

The executives appointed to the newly created positions are Joe Bento, president, Americas; Vittorio Favati, president, Asia-Pacific; Bruno Sidler, president, northern Europe; and Gianfranco Sgro, president, southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Ceva, headquartered in the Netherlands, was formed from the merger of TNT Logistics and U.S.-based EGL Eagle Global Logistics in August 2007.
